Day 2 – Plyometrics (Oh Boy!)

plyo

Alright so today I had to do Plyometrics or Plyo X! There are no rep goals or charts for this one, the only goal is to be able to either keep up with the people on the DVD or surpass them. I had the choice for the first time to switch this DVD to the Cardio instead but I decided to stick with it because the purpose of this journey is to BRING IT!

So how was it, OMG! it was insane, first off it is 60min of mostly constant jumping around + squatting, when Tony said this is the mother of P90X he did not lie, by the time the clock said I had 40min left my legs felt like they had been swapped out for led. I wont say I did everything exactly like the DVD, after about 30min I had to start modifying some of them. Most of the exercises were on 30sec routines and some 1min, I also had to cut some down to 20sec, only because I could not do it any more, but hey I did not stop and I kept going to the end. When the clock said I had 20min left some parts of my legs felt numb and I could feel my stomach muscles tensing up. It felt awesome, but I will say that I have to get up early tomorrow to be at work at 8am and I might need some Tylenol to be able to move some computers around LOL. But it’s worth it. Also when the water brakes came around I was glad because the back of my throat was very dry from all the heavy breathing and sweating.

Well after I was done I had nice shower and I ate Tuna Sandwiches with Salad and some Chocolate Milk, and I used some whole wheat bread. I made that change in my diet like 6 months ago and helped me loose about 7 lbs, so it’s the right choice, but may have not been the best choice for after working out because the fiber causes the protein to take longer to reach the muscles but its healthy.

So for tomorrow I have Shoulders & Arms + Ab Ripper X OH Yeah!

Thank you for your time and support:
