Day 6 – Kenpo X Fun Fun FUN!!

kenpo x

Oh man Kenpo X, here is one workout that you can’t help being excited during the workout. I use to do kickboxing like 15 years ago and I loved it, so I was really excited to do this kenpo routine. I wanted to kick like I use to but I am not as flexible anymore or I should say at the present time, as I plan to be flexible again. However the kicks that they perform were no higher than chest height so it was no big deal I could not kick as high as I use to.

I am please to say I completed the entire routine and I stayed with them from start to finish, I also did the jumping jacks and X jumps during the apparent breaks, so I was hyped, and I had a hard time trying to remember that I live in an apartment building and I should not be yelling when they were yelling for the last kicks or punches, I was so in to it :o)

Talking about being in to it, I even made my own modification to add a bit more, when I did the horse stance with blocking sequences, I made the horse stance a little lower, then every time I blocked to the right I would swing my horse stance to the right and when I blocked to the left I would swing my horse stance to the left, this caused my thighs to really burn, and considering that I worked out my legs yesterday, I really felt it. But it felt good, yeah, BRING IT!!

So tomorrow ends my first week WOW that is awesome! One week already. So tomorrow I have the choice to either take the day off or do X Stretch, and since I want to be flexible again, I will be doing X Stretch. Also tomorrow I will be weighing my self and retaking all the measurements, so tomorrows post is one you wont want to miss, it will show what I may have lost in weight in one week and where I may have lost it. I am excited to see, since I decided not to be checking the scale every day and wait to do it once a week. So see you all tomorrow.

Thank you for your time and Bring IT! LOL
