I am slowly getting more flexible in some areas, I am now able to grab my foot (not just the toe) on most hamstring stretches, that’s cool. I am still working on Camel, and I can somewhat do back hero, can’t go down to far but I am at least bending back and touching the floor with my hands.
Still working on plow, I can now do a lot straighter the shoulder stand, but I can’t put my feet on the floor in full plow yet, but still working on it.
Ok lets take a look at what today is all about…

OK so this week I cheated more then once, and by that I mean I ate cake several times LMAO! But I still lost at least 1.2lbs of weight, it’s still something but not as much as it could have been. Also besides the cheating I did not eat well, and spent part of some days not eating much, not a good thing, the body stores more fat when you don’t eat. So I need to make some changes again on my eating habits and make sure I stick to them.
Now it seems that my Body Fat % went up by .1% but ah, that does not mean I gained fat, remember it is a percentage of my total weight and I went down in weight so if you look at the Fat Body Mass you can tell I actually went down .1lbs LOL the rest I lost in Lean Body Mass, 1.1lbs of it, which could have been shrinking skin as you will see in my measurements.
Measurements:
Day 1 | Day 35 | Day 42 | |
Neck | 18 | 17 | 16.75 |
Shoulder | 17 | 15 | 15 |
Chest | 45.5 | 45 | 45 |
Waist | 44 | 41.5 | 41.5 |
Abdomen | 44 | 42.5 | 42.25 |
Hips | 41 | 40 | 40 |
Thigh | 23.5 | 24 | 23.5 |
Knee | 14.5 | 14.5 | 14.5 |
Calf | 15 | 14.5 | 14.75 |
Ankle | 9 | 9 | 9 |
Arm | 13.5 | 13 | 13.5 |

Waist-Hip Ratio | 1.073170732 | 1.0375 | 1.0375 |
OK so I lost a bit on my neck again, that is awesome I had a feeling I did, since I am again starting to get air in my stomach a bit from the CPAP machine. Also my abdomen went down a bit more and the top of my thighs, YAY!.
Now the sections that went up all seem to be muscle gain to me, remember that in these new routines I do a lot more weight lifting in the arms using 20lb dumbbells. However it could also be swollen.
Well I seem to have my work cut out for me next week, as all I have is 1 week left before I start the recovery week in order to end Phase II.
I may not be able to get me some whey protein for this pay, but in turn I will be trying to purchase more fruits and veggies that I can use as snacks. There is not much more I can do to increase my protein intake as I already eat plenty of chicken, turkey, tuna and some other lean meats.
Now it may be a pain in the but to try an measure everything you eat, but sometimes you wonder exactly what would the nutrition fact sheet of what you cook at home would look like, well I found a website that can help you with that. You just input the ingredients and the amount, the servings that it makes and it calculates the nutrition fact sheet per serving, really cool. Here is the link: http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-calculator.asp
So tomorrow I start again with Chest, Shoulders and Triceps + Ab Ripper X.
Thank you for your time:
Mike
Fitday.com is also a good site to keep track of what you eat. Keep up the good work.
