Day 76 – Kenpo X – BRING IT!!

Every time I do this routine my first thought is, how will I surpass the last time I did this routine and BRING IT!!. And the question now is, did I manage to bring it more then last time? We shall see.

First thing I did was again use my torso to provide more intensity to every punch, uppercut or hook, I also increased the speed to the point of almost doing twice the amount of reps being asked to do, and I really really put lots of intensity in the hits, I did make sure not to bang my joints but I swung the punches like if I was really hitting a bag, and of course I wear the weighted gloves. By the time we were just about to make it to the first break the upper part of my abs were in pain, I ignored it and eventually it just went numb LOL.

Breaks, who the heck needs one while doing this routine LOL, so no breaks, ran in place lifting the knees as high as possible, jump rope, jumping jacks and Xs and uhm I got so in to it by the second break while doing Xs I slammed my fists into the ceiling LOL hadn’t done that before, I just started cracking up LOL.

Kicking segment; during the kicks I put as much intensity as possible as well without hurting myself and uhm I also managed to kick my floor lamp accidently LOL I will say that I also did not miss to look back for each back kick as I find it important in order to exercise the neck muscles.

Elbow series and vertical punches; held a low horse stance and went a lot faster than the DVD and for the final vertical punches, for every punch I turned my torso to add intensity and extend my punch out a bit more. What I did was if I threw a right punch I turned my torso 45 degrees to the left and if I threw a left punch I turned my torso 45 degrees to the right, and I kept doing this while adding as much speed, oh man try it, I advise you to seriously try it and then come back and tell me if you feel it in your core, especially the abs both front and sides. You may not feel it right away, but you will feel it after, the abs will at least feel tight for a bit.

After I was done I can tell you that I still felt that I could very easily restart the DVD and do it all over again but it was late, it was already 8:30pm so I was like nah, maybe another day I will give that a try if I do it early and if I have nothing else to do, that would be interesting a double does of kenpo LOL.

So now we can answer the question, Did I bring it more? No I did not bring it more (Lower case letters are to week LOL), I BROUGHT IT MORE!!!! LOL YEAH!! With me putting so much power in to the punches and kicks, slamming my fists into the ceiling and kicking around my lamp and still wanting to do more at the end, hells yeah I did! :o)

Tomorrow I have X Stretch and I wont be surprise if I throw in a couple of exercises before doing the stretches cuz it has happened before, I am starting to get to the point where I need to workout or I get restless LOL
